2 Thessalonians 1:3 God knows what is best for our hearts--this is why Jesus was sent to us, to reveal where true delight in this world originates. Jesus' vision was so overwhelming for our world and unexpected that he was killed for it. God's love, however, overcame our disinterest and showed to us how God is making us new and reorienting us to what was intended from the beginning--sharing life with God.
